Federation University Australia (FedUni) comes over as a public, dual-sector university based in Ballarat in Victoria, Australia. Besides this, the university also has its location in cities like Ararat, Horsham, Stawell, Churchill, and Berwick, while also providing technical and further education (TAFE) courses and Horsham’s Higher Education Nursing program in the process

FedUni can be termed as the fourth oldest tertiary education institution in Australia that got established in the year 1870, during the famous Victorian gold rush. Moreover, the university changed its name after the merger between the University of Ballarat and Monash University’s Gippsland campus in 2013.

Academic or Personal Support

Students have access to welfare-related support services to assist with issues that may arise during their study, including course progress, attendance requirements and accommodation issues. These services are provided at no additional cost.
ATMC can also refer students to external support services, at no cost. We understand you may need additional help. Persons with special needs may access the Director of Student Services to put in place sufficient reasonable adjustments to make study in Australia and at ATMC as conducive as possible.
You may ask questions of the lecturer or tutor in class. In some cases you will be asked to make an appointment. You may also ask for support from ATMC Staff for any personal problems that may arise.
The Student Services Department is also available to help students with any personal or academic problems. Where the Student Services Department is unable to assist, students will be referred to the appropriate department for assistance. The Student Services Department also organizes the student orientation for new international students as well as many social activities and excursions. And we pride ourselves on providing international students with a very high level of support. ATMC can also assist you with information in relation to options for school-aged dependents of intending students. So don’t be afraid to ask!
